Premier Christy Clark and the governors of Oregon, Washington and California at the Pacific Coast Collaborative in Vancouver, agreed to work together to manage the potential debris from the March 2011 tsunami in Japan. Through sharing safety protocols and training for volunteers and shared safety protocols, the four jurisdictions seek to make the potential clean-up as efficient as possible.
